Fluffy Red Pom-Pom And Ivory Moto Jacket: Second Outfit With Changeable Pom-Pom Beret

Here comes the second outfit with the changeable pom-pom beret I showed you in the Changeable Pom-Pom Beret DIY post (you can see the first one is here). This is my most favorite outfit; I really like how the red color of the pom pom gets together with the creamy fur and black basics.

The t-shirt I am wearing here is from Threadless. I am sure you know them already, since this amazing creative fashion community/company have got wildly popular shortly after it was founded in 2000. I became their fan only recently, and the I CAN HAZ CHEESEBURGER SPACESHIPS? t-shirt is my very first Threadless t-shirt.

In case you never heard of these guys, Threadless is  an online community of artists and an e-commerce website based in Chicago, Illinois. Artists from around the world submit designs, and the Threadless community scores each of them. The best of the best are printed on t-shirts, hoodies, phone cases and sold through the website. New designs are chosen for print every week and the winning artists are paid royalties and cash prizes.  About 1,000 designs are put to a public vote weekly. I think this is one of these nifty ideas where everyone is a winner: The customers get unique products, the artists get deserved recognition and monetary reward, and the company prospers. Yep, I am a huge fan 🙂

How To Get The Look

Behind The Scene of The Photo Shoot

We did this photo shoot the same day we shot the green pom pom one under the same cold freezing rain. I must say that freezing rain is fun but only for the first few minutes. When we got outside to take pictures, Sam proposed: “How about going to the closest Indian resto and ordering a take-out? While they are cooking it, we will do the shoot and then we will pick up the food and go home and eat” and I excitedly replied: “Sure, let’s do that! The weather seems to be fun, let’s take a walk!” So we walked for 5 minutes, and I stopped next to every fence and every tree and shot the beautiful ice covering every branch and every wire around. Once we reached the resto, two things came to our attention. First, the resto was closed. It meant there would be no hot food after the shoot. Second, the rain became stronger… and colder. My mood immediately dropped. We were only 5 min away from home, but I so did not feel like coming back and making the shoot there. I just wanted to finish it ASAP and to crawl back home to go under warm covers with the cats. So I decided to do the photo shoot right there in a narrow snow-covered passage next to the resto.

I was so cold, hungry and very wet. I also got worried about the camera, since Sam could not stay under the roof unlike the last time when he was shooting being hidden in the porch. It was one of the fastest photo shoots we have ever done, and I totally forgot to to smile 🙂

On the way to the resto: happy!
